


About the Role
As a Support Worker, your role will focus on building strong, trusting relationships and promoting the wellbeing of the young person in our care. You will:
- Provide emotional and practical support in line with the young person’s individual care plan
- Help maintain structure, safety, and routine throughout the day and night
- Support with education, social skills, and life development
- Contribute to daily handovers, key documentation, and safeguarding practices
- Role model healthy communication, behaviour, and problem-solving
- Work collaboratively with a small, consistent team to deliver outstanding care

Requirements
Experience working with vulnerable young people, ideally in a residential or education setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to enrol within 6 months)
• Driver’s licence preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and emotional resilience
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk, and trauma-informed care
• Flexible availability including sleep-ins, evenings, and weekends
