Care & Support Services is a dedicated provider of residential childcare services across the West and East Midlands. We specialise in supporting vulnerable children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and social needs.
Our team is made up of passionate, experienced professionals committed to delivering nurturing, high-quality care in safe, homely environments.

Our Therapeutic Approach

At Care and Support Services, we believe in more than just meeting basic needs, we provide trauma-informed, therapeutic care that nurtures healing, trust, and long-term emotional growth. Our approach is built around consistent relationships, emotional safety, and responsive, individualised support.

We embed key therapeutic principles into daily routines through:
  • PACE: a framework that helps staff build safe, trusting connections

  • Emotionally available caregiving, allowing young people to feel heard, accepted, and secure

  • Consistent staff training in trauma recovery, attachment, and regulation strategies

  • Collaborative work with therapists and mental health professionals, ensuring joined-up care

  • Therapeutic life story work, helping young people understand their journey and identity

Our homes are more than just safe spaces, they are places of belonging, development, and transformation, where young people are supported to rebuild self-worth and create new, positive life pathways.

At Care and Support Services, we follow the PACE approach — Play, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy. These four values guide how we care for and support young people every day. They help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel understood, valued, and empowered to grow.
