


About the Role
As a Support Worker in this home, you’ll play a key role in helping a young person feel safe, supported, and understood. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing practical and emotional care in line with the child’s individual plan
- Supporting with education, life skills, and emotional regulation
- Maintaining daily structure, boundaries, and positive routines
- Working closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager to ensure consistent care delivery
- Managing risk and following safeguarding policies at all times
- Contributing to a nurturing home environment rooted in trust, patience, and predictability

Requirements
• Experience supporting young people with emotional or behavioural needs
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to enrol within 6 months)
• Driver’s licence (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
• Calm, consistent, and emotionally resilient approach
• Willingness to work sleep-ins and support a solo placement setting
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and safeguarding principles
